Building Your 'Boring' Personal Brand | Day 4

Whoops! I almost did a big oopsie by not remembering to hit 'send' after a long day of duties and errands!

Let's NOT stop here—here we go.

By now you've (hopefully!) realized your personality isn't boring—it's just been waiting for permission to show up in your brand.

Day 1, Day 2, Day 3

But here’s where most people get stuck:

“Okay cool, I know my personality now… but how does that become my actual brand?”

Great question. Let’s fix that today!

The secret is: you’re already making visual decisions that reflect your personality every single day.

The way you’ve decorated your space. Your weekend outfit. The coffee shop (or home office corner) where you feel most like yourself.

Those aren’t random choices—they’re your aesthetic preferences showing up. And THAAAT, is your brand direction.

Today’s video walks you through the translation framework:

→ Your actual living space = color palette and texture direction

→ Your go-to weekend outfit = your brand’s vibe level (polished-casual? cozy? minimal?)

→ Your favorite place to work/hang = the feeling/energy your brand should have

I’ll walk you through real examples and give you the prompts to figure out your own translation.

No worksheet today—just watch the video and actually DO the exercise while you watch.

Look around your space right now. What colors are you drawn to? What textures? What feeling does it give you?

That’s your brand baby! Right there.

Tomorrow is our last day together and we’re talking about the gap between knowing all this and actually DOING something with it.

If you’re realizing “holy shit I actually need help translating all of this into a real, functioning brand,” that’s literally what First Light is for.

Not just the translation (though yes, we nail that). But the full implementation—

the social templates so you’re not staring at blank Canva files,
the photoshoot guide so your content actually feels on brand,
the launch workshop so you know exactly how to roll it all out, yada yada yada.

Most branding packages give you assets and ghost, but First Light gives you assets AND the plan to actually use them✌🏻

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

See you tomorrow for Day 5!

We made it to day 5 Reader! 💕 So here’s where we are: You’ve spent this week realizing your personality isn’t boring, you’ve identified your actual traits, and you’ve started seeing how they translate into visual decisions. Missed the previous emails and videos? Get them here!Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 That’s HUGE. Seriously. But here’s the thing I need you to hear: Knowing all of this doesn’t matter if you don’t actually implement it. And I’m not saying that to be harsh—I’m saying it because...

Day 3, Reader! I hope you're learning something and HANGING IN THERE. CUZ, real talk time. Missed the previous emails and videos? Get them here!Day 1, Day 2 You’ve been telling yourself your personality isn’t “personal-brand-worthy” for how long now? Let me guess: You look at other creatives who seem so put together and think “they have a THING… what’s my thing?” Here, get this: You already have a thing. Multiple things, actually. You just haven’t given yourself permission to claim them yet....

DAY 2!! Yesterday was about the mindset shift, now let me ask you this one question: What’s one thing you do regularly that feels completely unremarkable to you? Maybe you meal prep every Sunday. Or you’re in bed by 9:30pm. Or you have the same morning routine every single day. Boring, right? WRONG AGAIN. That “boring” thing? That’s literally your brand personality showing up. Here’s what I mean: → “I meal prep every Sunday” translates to: organized, intentional, values routine (some clients...
